An Air Differential Pressure Switch is a device that uses a difference in air pressure to trigger an electric switch at a predetermined actuation point. There might be the distinction between different positive or two negative pressures, or between a positive and atmospheric pressure and a negative and atmospheric pressure. The electric switch can be used to start or stop motors or fans, open or close dampers or louvres, flash a warning light, sound an alarm, and so on.
