The PyroNFC Infrared Temperature Sensors detect an infrared radiation of an object to estimate temperature from a distance. The more IR radiation is released, the greater the temperature. The sensing element absorbs energy and generates an output signal, which is made up of tiny thermocouples on a silicon chip. Infrared temperature sensors monitor non-contact temperature and are available with a variety of lens and filter options, allowing them to be used in a wide range of applications, from industrial pyrometers to climate controls and medical equipment.
